Diedrichs & Associates, Inc. provides technical services to industrial, research and commercial clients. Our primary focus is in the development of products and machines for the agricultural and construction equipment industry. We provide engineering, design and prototype build services in support of client projects. We have a diverse team of experienced engineers, designers and experimental technicians. A number of examples of our work can be found on our website.
We are busy and exploring ways to expand services. If you believe you can contribute to the kind of work we are doing – or believe you can help us provide a related service, we’d like to hear from you.

Required Skills: Be able to contribute to development of new or improved machines as a manager, engineer, designer, or experimental mechanic. Must have experience related to agricultural or contruction machinery, off-road vehicles, or special application machinery development. If you have other skills that you believe could complement our services, we’d like to hear from you.

| Project Manager: Engineering and business experience in managing projects from concept through design, prototype build, testing, manufacturing and customer support. Ability to plan and execute projects to meet all required objectives. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to work with project team members and client representatives. A P.E. license, familiarity with CAD, or experience in business or sales would also be useful. |
| Project Engineer: Experienced in design of products, machines or systems, including concept development, design leadership, planning and managing work to meet project schedule, costs, and technical objectives. An ability to plan projects and schedules. Have some competence in CAD, e.g. ProEngineer, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to work with project team members and client representatives. A P.E. license or experience in business or sales would also be useful. |
| Design Engineer: Experienced in the design of machine structures, mechanisms and controls. Must have competence in CAD, e.g. ProEngineer, SolidWorks or Autocad and an understanding of engineering drawings and documents. Good communication skills, written and verbal, to work with team members and client representatives. Must have some specific design skills such as mechanical and structural assemblies, chassis or drive train design, electrical systems and controls, embedded control systems, hydraulic system design and analysis, etc. |
| Technician/Mechanic: Experienced in mechanical or electronic systems as needed to support product and machine development. This includes vehicles, special machines, instrumentation and control systems. |
