Background

After 32 years with John Deere, Al has joined the Diedrichs & Associates, Inc. team as a senior machinist. Some things he has accompished throughout his career include:

• Tool Room Machinist for John Deere-17 years
   - Went through the John Deere apprenticeship program
   - Worked in the Downtown Machine Shop
   - Also served as an auto mechanic doing service vehicle repair
  
• Tractor Machinist for John Deere--15 years
   - Transferred to the PEC
   - Worked on the first of the 8000 series tractor at the Tractor Works site
   - Work with engineers to complete special projects
   - Completed tests and builds for new projects and prototypes

Aditional Information

In his free time, Al enjoys biking and has been an active participant of Ragbrai for the past 18 years. He also enjoys rebuilding old cars.
