Jack Gregersen, P.E.:Environmental Engineer
Education: MS Water Resources from Iowa State University (1971) and BA Science (Chemistry Emphasis) from the University of Northern Iowa.
Jack has experience in many environmental areas, such as industrial waste water, quality control testing and chemical lab work for treatment plants. He has conducted experiments and tests, analyzed data and prepared reports concerning environmental affairs.
He has helped a client meet requirements for NADCAP certification by review and revision of chemical and plating processes. He has worked on Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment reports per ASTM E 1527
Mr. Gregersen worked at Hawkeye Chemical Co. and had responsibilities for quality control, environmental testing and some process activities. Later, Jack joined the Department of Immunochemistry Research and studied the chemical composition of active substances. At Tenco Hydro/Aerosciences Inc. he did treatment studies including application tests for dissolved air treatment equipment and testing on waste water. At Pentech/Houdaille, Gregersen did research and ran tests on aeration equipment. He traveled to Belgium and Austria to check installed equipment in treatment plants. At John Deere, he worked primarily in environmental operations but had some experience in environmental affairs.
Over his career, Jack has worked on a number of projects and technical investigations. The following list illustrates the wide variety of projects and control systems that he has worked on:
