Background

Dale has experience in both the agricultural and manufacturing industries as a product safety, occupational safety, and manufacturing engineer.

For the past 17 yeras, Dale has beenself-employed as a safety, design, and forensic engineer through his engineering firm, Inductive Engineering. Inductive is based out of Cadott, WI and Cedar Falls, IA.

June 1979-October 1992

Doerfer Engineering; Cedar Falls, IA
   - Consulting Project Engineer for engineering design and fabrication firm.
   - Responsibilities included: loss control program audits, product liability litigation      assistance, accident investigation, product safety critiques, product safety consultation,      occupational safety training, inspecting, and auditing.

June 1976-June 1979

Borg Warner, MST Division; Dixon, IL
   - Manufacturing Engineer for automotive parts manufacturer
   - Responsible for cost reduction, machine and tool design, and manufacturing process      layout

January 1974-June 1976

Borg Warner; Chicago, IL
   - Corporate Loss Control Engineer for automotive parts manufacturer
   - Provided safety consultation and training in U.S. plant facilities for workers'      compensation insurance
   - Audited occupational safety programs and inspected plants for compliance with safety      codes and regulations

August 1971-January 1974

National LP-Gas Association; Chicago, IL
   -Manager of Research and Development for L.P. Gas Association
   -Responsible for correlation and dissemination of research and development concerning     improved use of L.P. gas.
   -Involved in standards writing

   -Project Engineer for Underwriters Laboratories
   -Conducted product safety critiques
   -Directed testing for consumer products

Graber Manufacturing; Middleton, WI
   - Assistant Engineer for manufacturer of drapery rods and hardware
   - Duties included machine troubleshooting, product design, tool and die design, and      process layout
