The Stinger Thermal Weeder uses propane fuel to superheat steam to kill weeds. Propane steam weed control is an established organic production technique and has been accepted by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program.

Diedrichs' engineers are currently working to review/revise the Stinger prototype (shown in the picture above) to meet new market objectives. We are in the process of conducting customer focus groups and in-depth interviews with experts in the field.

Following the collection and analysis of data, we will design and build a new prototype to fit the new customer needs.
